The reasonable layout of pig farm is conducive to convenient management and strong practicability. At the same time, good use of pig equipment can improve work efficiency in pig breeding and facilitate the development of pig breeding. However, the design layout of pig farm is taboo. 1. Avoid improper site selection of pig farm: the pig farm should be located 100 meters away from the highway, far away from livestock product processing plants and villages and other densely populated places. It should be in the downwind direction of residential houses, high dry terrain, windward and sunny, solid soil, strong water permeability, not polluted by pathogens, clean water source and convenient water intake.
2. Avoid incorrect design of pig house location: when building pig house, consider the needs of pig production. The boar house should be built in the direction of the upwind area of the pig farm, which is not only adjacent to the sow house, but also keeps a certain distance from it. Lactating pig house, pregnant pig house, breeding pig house and reserve pig house shall be built at a place slightly close to the gate of the pig farm for convenient transportation.
3. Avoid single building mode: the model of female pig house, male pig house and fat pig house all have their own specific requirements, not all of them can be built in the same way. For example, a nursery is needed in a sow house, but not in other houses. The walls of boar houses need to be stronger and the walls need to be higher. Therefore, if you want to raise any pig, you need to build any pigsty.
4. Avoid excessive density of pig houses: in order to save land and reduce investment, some pig houses are simple and dense, which can not be designed and arranged scientifically and reasonably, resulting in high density of pig raising, environmental pollution and mutual infection among pigs. The distance between pig houses shall be at least 8 meters, and fruit trees and trees can be planted in the middle for shade in summer.
5. Avoid no windows in pigsty: some pigsty have no windows, some have windows, but the windows are too small, too few, and it is not conducive to ventilation and cooling in summer. Generally speaking, there are 4 windows of 60-70cm in the back wall of a pigsty which can raise 10 finishing pigs.
6. Avoid improper specifications of the feeding trough: the feeding trough shall be built according to the wall, the bottom of the trough shall be in the shape of "U", and the size of the feeding trough shall be determined according to the type and quantity of pigs.
7. Avoid no sink: lack of clean water will affect the growth and development of pigs. Therefore, the pigsty must be equipped with a sink or an automatic water dispenser.
